Default buying a used gun

Now that the gun registry is kaput, how does one go about buying a used gun. I have a current PAL certificate but I was thinking about this today. A official bill of sale will suffice? Remember buying my winchester 11 years ago but all the additonal paperwork and phonecall to register and whatever else they did. Really would like to buy a good used rifle, just at a loss how to do it, kinda silly this question, really.

1. find a gun you wanna buy
2. let the seller know you have a valid PAL
3. pay for gun at agreed upon price
4. take your new gun home
5. Enjoy new gun

That is all.

Any idea what you want? I have a couple I might part with.

hand over cash, collect firearm. It is the sellers responsibility to make sure they are legal to sell it to you by verifying that you have a valid PAL, and Its your responsibility to make sure you are legal to possess what you purchase. No paperwork at all needed.
