The course gives you the basic knowledge and skills to get started. With this course you'll get a certificate that will allow you to obtain a trapping licence.

Default hmm!

What's the cost?

This is something I've actually always wanted to do, and was never in the area, and it turns out I'll just be getting back into the area at the course time!

if you take a trappers course and get your trapping licence does that mean you can build a small trappers cabin deep in the woods, thanks for info.

No, it means you can now trap a registered trapline after you buy one. Cabin building is optional after that point. But if you're an outfitter, the govt nor the trappers association wants you to go off cabin building unless you are actively trapping your trapline.

So no "lodge" deep in the woods for you just because you completed some simplton course that you can operate an outfitting business from.
