Default First Bear For The Boy!

A great hunt with the boy! Spotted this bear at around 800yds, walked the tree line to close the distance to 220yds. Had a 20 min wait time for a proper shot but ended up with him tagging his first bear. Roughly measured out at 7' 4" nose to tail & green measurement on the scull at 20 1/2". I could not be more proud of him!!

Talking moose is curious what calibre little man uses.... Classic youth calibers such as 243? 257? 2506? 260 7mm08? Or something else?

Thanks for the comments everyone from the both of us. It truly was a hunt we will never forget! He is still grinning from ear to ear about it all but I have a feeling it may also have to do with the thought that he now has a bigger bear than the old man. That is something I will live the rest of my life happy with. The calibre he is using is a 25-06 & he is very comfortable with it.
