Default Fishing for Ft. Mac (Len Thompson Lures)

http://www.lenthompson.com/

I'm hearing these lures will catch the fish of your dreams! Nothing but 20lbs plus Pike on these babies.

I've ordered 4 and can't wait to try them out.

Was a Great Idea also. Most of us were going to spend a bunch of money restocking our tackle boxes anyways.

I ordered 2 of each also. I'm betting the blue one is money!

I'm not even sure how many Len Thompson lures I have, close to 50 I bet. Dad always used a five of diamonds or a red devil and he always seemed to outfish me no matter how many times I switched lures.

Going to order some more to add to the box.

Thanks.

ANOTHER great Alberta company...kudos.

2 for me 2 for Dad, I have 3 tackle boxes full of lures but 90% of the time I use the 5 of diamonds -- it's a killer!

Dont fish much, but Len Thompson is an Alberta company, deserves our support just for that reason.

Thanks for the link Deo. They have already sold out of blue ones, so I ordred white. Pretty sure they will sell out of those also. I'll check back later to see if they have decided to make more.
A while back the Ft. Sask F&G club had some made up with there colors. Nice Lures.

I guess if I can say 1 good thing about my chronic insomnia, I was up and able to order 2 of each color last night before they sold out. I can see these becoming collectors items.

Great News! Maybe they'll roll out some more. Perhaps no way to keep up to demand though.

The guys at Alberta strong are also giving proceeds to Ft. Mac. They have some really nice hoodies, hats etc.

From Len Thompson.

THANK YOU - WE ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT!
AN UPDATE FROM OUR PRESIDENT | MAY 7, 2016
WOW… Just wow… I am so moved by the overwhelming positive response to our new #AlbertaStrong lures.

After seeing the images of ravaged Fort McMurray, we were easily compelled to do our small part to help. On Friday morning, we quickly built a few prototype #AlbertaStrong lures and I made a commitment that the first 1000 lures sold on our website would 100% be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.

Less than 16 hours after we published this commitment onto our website, and a little more than 24 hours since the idea was first crafted, I am absolutely THRILLED to announce that all 1000 lures have been very quickly sold. Next week we will make an $8,000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross! This $8000 will be matched by the federal and provincial governments, and will go a long way to help the Fort McMurray evacuees!
Now… I need to ask the help of our fans and customers. When I made the commitment for 1000 lures, we did not anticipate the popularity of these lures, and the speed in which they would be claimed.

As such, I would humbly request that all of the customers who purchased the #AlbertaStrong lures be patient with us as we work to build these lures and ship them out over the next few weeks. We apologize if it takes a little longer to receive your order than you are used to.
Next week, we will make an $8000 donation to the Canadian Red Cross. This $8000 donaton will be matched by the federal and provincial governments, and will go a long way to help Fort McMurray evacuees.
Next, it is very obvious that the generosity of Canadians and the demand for this #AlbertaStrong lure requires us to make a sustainable, longer term plan. Please allow our team a few days to catch our breathe, make a plan and fulfill the customer orders that have already been made. Please stay tuned for updates.

I am truly grateful for this response, and we appreciate everyone’s patience.

Sincerely,

Brad Pallister, President

They made some lures that are very collectable.

Been supporting Len forever by throwing lures in the lake and not retrieving them.

Len Thompsons have my all time favourite lures for jack since I was a wee lad. Thompson set up his company in Abernethy Sask. we always liked the fact we fished the same lakes in the Qu'Appelle valley where he developed his products. In the Lemburg hotel just a hoot and a holler down the road there is shrine honoring Len.

Good stand up company with a good product that works
