Anyone shoot one of these rifles. If so what cal and how acurate are they. Was looking a the 223 rem it has a 9" twist. Will that still shoot the lighter bullets.(40,50gr) or just the heavyer ones(75)

Haven't shot one. The fast twist should still accurately shoot the lighter bullets.

I own a VTR 223. Great little gun. One exeception is the built in mozzle break. Even the 223 I would Not recommend firing this gun without some serious hearing protection. Fired a shot at a gopher in the prone postion w/bipod and my buddy was standing just behind be and to the left.... I thought i deafened the poor guy for life..( no ear plugs)... As the question on light bullets, any site that i ve read up on said the 1 and 9 twist is good from 40 gr to 69gr bullets. Personaly i use 50 gr nosler spizters with 26.0 grains of benchmark powder and cci primers. I load so that the bullet is just sitting off the lands which is about 2.308 inches. I can shoot a 3 shot group @ 200yards with under 1/2 inch MOA. Bullet speed with this load is chronyed @ 3400 FPS Gun is also fairly heavy.. not one that i would want to pack for very long....Great for setting-up on a hill side and touchen varmits out to 300 to 400 yards....depending on the wind. It defenitely has the cool look factor and I get lots of WHAT IS THAT at the local gun range. The price was also affordable and now i see you can get it in the desert recon stock which to me looks really cool... Hope this helps..
