Default Any use for "canned" skunk?

So long story short we were having a family day at our farm this past summer and about an hour before everyone started arriving a skunk starts messing around not far from where we had planned on setting up our eats and drinks.

My son in law shot it and my son quickly grabbed the dead skunk and stuck it in an empty 5 gallon pail and put the lid back on then carried it a few hundred yards away.

I was hauling hay off the fields the other day and spotted the 5 gallon pail and remembered, and thought WTH do I do with that thing now?

I picked up the pail and moved it and noticed how little smell there was but I am not brave enough to open it...lol

So would any trapper have a use for something like this or do I just use it for coyote bait this winter?
Regards,
Dave

A skunk is good for attracting fox. Foxes like to roll around on dead skunks.

Cougar and yotes will eat the meat of skunk. Horned owls do too.
