Anybody fish Glennifer lake recently? Was thinking of hitting it tomorrow. Looking for something i haven't fished for in a long time. I know grandpa caught a 4lb rainbow in there years ago... I have seen some big fish in there too b ut don't here much about peeps landing many there. I know about the trout pond but am not interested in stocked lakes. Looking for some real fishing.

SRD did some gill net sampling within the past 2 weeks. The results:

Total fish caught - 70
Pike - 1
Walleye - 12 (only 1 over 3 kg)
Rest were long nose and white sucker.

An interesting result, I thought.
