Default Elk around the Suffield Base (Not on the Base)

So, I am not looking for an exact spot, but we I was hoping someone could maybe point us in the right direction as to where to start for our anterless elk season starting Thursday. We have been scouting two weekends in a row and have come up empty. Talked to alot of ranchers that have said that they have seen them but not for a while. My 14 year daughter and myself are drawn, so I was hoping that at least I could find her one if nothing else. Any help would be greatly appreciated as we are closing in fast of the start day.

Awesome.... on your Bitter....

We spent a few days in 148 last week, we didn't see any elk, but we weren't that close to the river.... Good luck and hope you can connect...
