Default dirt bike insurance question

Hi all.
I need to get insurance for 2 dirt bikes my brother gave me for my boys. I have the bill of sale etc. for 1 buck!!!!

My question. I know I need insurance to get the plates. Bikes are 2002 and 2003 Honda 80 and 100. I also have a quad that needs the same. My fifthwheel toyhauler is insured through unifund but they don't cover dirt bikes.
I would like to get all 3 done on one policy and figure it can be grouped and save a few bucks.

Where are some of you insuring your toys and if you don't mind what kind of prices.
The 2007 quad with basic liability was 200 bucks.
They will only use the bikes 3-10 days the whole year so only want a basic coverage.
thanks

My 2012 yz250f is insured through intact.

Aviva wouldn’t insure it as my truck is insured with them. Tried to keep it under one roof but oh well.

The rep I spoke with just 2 days ago said they don't do policy for the bikes only my quad so I am looking elsewhere.

Left a message for Marie. Thanks Dave P.

Question
Do you guys cancel the insurance when the snow flies?

I don’t as I have fire and theft on it. I also ride year round.

I have a Honda 500 and a Honda 70 insured through Wawanesa. Around $100 year for the 70 with PL/PD and $250/year for the 500 with full coverage. Most companies will only insure your dirt bikes if you also have your vehicles or home insurance with them in my experience.

Insurance for bikes is pro rated to the summer months too so if you cancel you basically get a couple bucks.

A lot of places I spoke with wanted me to have my class 6 even though it’s a dirt bike. I got a quote for basic at most places around $100.

If they are old bikes, don’t bother. Insurance is more than bikes are worth. Otherwise likely same amount Quad to drive on public land.

But is there not heavy fines for no plates and insurance? Used on crown land only. No fire or theft. Just want lowest liability.

You need liability insurance minimum to ride on crown land.

Do these guys insure dirt bikes separately? My insurance company (TD) requires that I have a class 6 to insure a kids dirt bike and I'm not really interested in changing everything to a new insurer just for the dirt bike.

I insured them through the same agency (Baughan in Wainwright) that I insure my vehicles through. No class 6 required even though the 70 is street legal and registered in my wife's name.
