Beautiful day on the lake today, but got skunked. With the exception of a rumor that one guy caught three fish (don't know what kind), I didn't hear of anyone catching anything today.

Snow is about a foot deep and very heavy.

Maybe tomorrow

We also got skunked, fished for 5 hours not a single hit. Tons of brine shrimp in the lake and I mean TONS. No wonder the fish won't bite their stuffed, LOL. The beautiful weather made up for it all.

I was out there too with my two little guys, sounds like we weren't the only ones skunked. Had one smelt taken from my tipup and one good bite but other than that no action. That makes four trips to Pine and four skunks so far this winter! I agree though, it was a great day and the boys had fun

Default Pine Lake

Hi everyone is was out at Pine Lake yesterday and had some luck finally! Even though it was only a 3 pound pike it was nice to see and caught something. I was fishing near Cobbles Bay in about 15 of water, and I was using a smelt near bottom and jigging with a Black and Yellow 5 of diamonds and that is is what he took! It wasn't til dark that I had action on my smelt after bring it up near the bottom of the ice, but I missed him and could not tell what it was because it was so dark. Hope this helps, enjoy!

Joe.

was out this morning for a couple hours, got one wally out in front of green acres, just beside the ice road. Snow looks pretty deep off the beaten trail so I didn't give it a go. easy to get on from Scotty's and very driveable in anything as long as you stay on the ice road
