Default Underwater Micro Spinnerbait

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKYe...eon45rk0h00410

Underwater trout fishing review of the Dynamic Lures Micro Spinnerbait for trout. This takes the spinner bait profile and compacts it into a trout fishing lure that gets a lot of attention and some aggressive hits. While this lure gathers a lot of attention I think it would work better in stained, murky water or low light conditions. In the clear water it seems the fish are a bit hesitant of all the vibration and flash that brings them in so fast. Anyways great idea for a lure and have enjoyed seeing how they work.

New spin on an old classic. A new-aged Beetle Spin.

Lol, pretty much what I thought. The beetle spin has been around forever.

IMO getting short strikes on a spinnerbait is fairly typical. The hooking percentage simply isn't as good as a lot of other lures. The hooking percentage is significantly better than any other "weedless" type lure I've tried though, and when buzzed on the top the hooking percentage is far better than most topwater lures.

I'm a huge fan of spinnerbaits but I agree that in clear, open water they are often out of their element. Probably why they've never been used much for trout. I'll usually run a stinger hook if I'm fishing a spinnerbait where weeds aren't a concern.

Nice footage BTW.
