You have to use the shorter Hornady brass (approx. 0.200") shorter than standard. And, you have to crimp. I've run into the same issue loading .444 Marlin Leverevolution. If you have the Lee factory crimp die, the brass will be too short to reach the crimping portion of the mandrel. Simply fix, flip your seated bullet upside down and insert it into the top of the die, bring the ram up to the bottom of the mandrel and crimp. Just try to insert each loaded round the same amount to get consistent crimped lengths.
