If they stock everything the stateside division does, that will be huge.

Great news, now if only Sinclair would come to Canada, we would have it made.

No more "can not ship to canada" is great if they cary the products, or are willing to bring them in from their US store.

Me thinks this is going to really tick off a lot of the vendors in Canada who are gouging us... Ahhh nothing like market place competition.

Somehow I might tend to agree with PeteW. I'll believe what I see when I see it.

We did not realize many, if any, cost saving/benefits with Cabelas arriving in Canada - in fact the opposite from what I've seen there. Hopefully Midway will be different.

Didn't take long for this to go from, "yay!" To, "yeah, they'll probably rip us off too."

Does this mean Larry has to speak with a bob & doug hoser accent when he does those gun smithing videos? Take off eh!

I'm mixed on this. Midway won't sell me a paper clip because I'm Canadian. Brownells at least sells me what they can.

I am aware of that, but the thread topic is about Midway, I haven't seen anything mentioned about Brownells coming to Canada.

Midway would be a fantastic addition in Canada. Natchez would be better!

I think we did see a price advantage with Cabelas coming to Canada. Many things they carry are cheaper than WSS or Basspro (especially BassPro).

It's about options to me....pricing is secondary, if I can't find an item then I have to ship it from stateside....hopefully if they come up here the shipping won't be as costly and the selection and stock will compare.

I have a feeling if they do come here we will only have a watered down selection....

Could you kindly point out where it was mentioned that Brownells was coming to Canada.

I have found some things cheaper at WSS, and some things cheaper at Cabelas, but having more options is always a good thing.

As much as it is nice to have Cabelas in Canada, once you have visited a few Cabelas stores in the USA, you do realize just how much smaller the Canadian stores are, and how much less variety the Canadian stores carry. Still, more sources mean more selection overall.

Grass must be starting to look greener on the other side of the fence...
but as always it gets the canadian standard of the 30% mark up rule ,,,,
if the price is right or if desperately needed ,, i will buy ..no matter the cost,,
