Default Beam scale or auto dispenser???????

What are your preferences for reloading??? Beam scale or automatic dispenser??? I purchased a Lyman DPS 1200 digital scale/auto dispenser a few months back. I have just not got the use out of it i thought i would and am thinking of going back to the beam scale i used all the time. I find i am just not loading enough ammo to justify it. What is everyones preference??

Still use the old Lee beam scale. Never used a digital one so I cannot compare. Always wanted one though. I only load about 500-600 rounds of various calibers a year though.

I am in the same boat. Don't shoot competitively and only load 20 or so rounds for a few calibers to practice at the range then 20 hunting rounds for the fall. It was a purchase on a whim and i am just rethinking whether i need it or not in the grand scheme of things.

Well Win94 ya gotta do more blasting to justify your scale. For hunting I never leave home without at least 50 rounds per different caliber I bring. You can never have too much ammo.

I use the RCBS chargemaster and am glad I bought one. I tend to go through about a 1000 rounds a year with my varminters, so the auto dispenser was a very nice addition.

I like the auto powder dispensers, if you guys are thinking about selling let me know, I would probably be interested in purchasing one.

Win94,

You should sell it......to me

How much you want for it? If it's reasonable, I might buy it.
