Default O/U 20GA Shotgun opinions

Hi,
Im looking to buy a 20ga o/u shotgun with 28" barrels for upland and a little duck hunting. I do shoot skeet at work as well.(off time of course) I dont want to buy the farm so I have been looking at CZ and Yilditz. What are your opinions of these shotguns for the price. Oh ya, I have to get the wifes blessing so Im trying to keep this under 1,200 bucks. Other suggestions are welcome as well. What models do you like and how is the wieght.
Thanks in advance, James

The only CZ shotgun I have used is a Bobwhite SXS in 28 guage, but it was simpil an awesome gun.
I have also fired a Yildiz 20 O/U and it was a nice pight handling field gun.
IMO you cannoit go wrong with either for their price point.
A few years back there were some issues with pins, etc breakig, but both factories have fixd their QA/QC problems and I have not heard of any break downs since.
Clay at Prophet River handles both brands.....

I have the Yildiz 20 O/U and love it. I think CZ is great too but it is how it feels for you. Either way good luck. I do like the 20gauge as hunting with pointers you smoke the birds. For waterfowl not sure though haven't tried mine for waterfowl yet.

i cannot speak to the CZ...but I have a yildiz 12ga o/u and a 20ga sxs and i love both.

they have amazing wood, lock up tight and are nice and light in the field.....they may be too light for a lot of skeet work...but the occasional round would be just fine.

always offer this, if you are in the lethbridge/magrath area pm me and i will let you shoot mine if you want.

clay at prophet river is awesome to deal with.

I have a Browning Cynergy Classic that is just awesome. It points so naturally and is a joy to shoot.

I have the CZ canvasback o/u in 20 gauge. I have not used it a great deal yet but it has been good so far. It is also a nice handling gun for me.I also have the 12 gauge ringneck sxs that has also been good so far. I find it a bit more clumsy though but not bad.
