MPAK Airdrie has a good selection of non channel bags which is my go to.

Bought my sealer at Butchers and Packers. It's an Italian model. Have used it for all my meats and sausage. Never had a problem with it. Probably sealed over 500 packs with it. Bags are a good price at BP. Talk to Eddy and he will set you up.

I've gone through quite a few "food savers" in the end i bought a chamber vac. It's the pump that makes all the difference. Busch rotary is best we can get here. Mine gets used a lot and it never skipped a beat. Most important thing to remember with these units is to change oil once or twice a year to avoid premature diaphragm failiure.

Ctr has some Hancovac chamber vacs that use busch pumps, we use a table top model when packing fish on west coast, great little units.

nothing works better to seal an open bottle of wine!

I am not sure why you would want to seal a bottle of wine. Isn't that like bringing ammo home from the range?
