Default Rugby World Cup!

TSN is carrying the games live!

It's in Japan, starting at 10:30 pm, here with Fiji/Australia.

This is going to be good!

Another 6 hrs worth tonight!

Yesterday showed examples of 3 different styles of play. I found them all to be VERY enjoyable! (How about that kick??!!) Tonight promises to be equally entertaining, in 3 more ways.

I'm glad TSN picked this up, so more people can enjoy the sport.

Tonga/England will be an interesting one, style wise, as well.

Ya, that was a good one!

What I really enjoyed was how Namibia was so positive. They got beat, unsurprisingly, but they celebrated their positive plays and were always supportive of each other. They're not a highly ranked team, and it's obvious they're enjoying the experience as much as they can.

Those Tongan's hit HARD!!! Even though they lost to England(again as expected) there are going to be a LOT of sore and bruised English, today.

Georgia/Wales at 4AM Monday morning. I doubt there'll be anything surprising there, but it'll be interesting to see how Georgia is with regard to ball handling and discipline.

Georgia/Uruguay is pretty entertaining!

(Canada is an embarassment. It is so sad to see.)

Going to watch the Uruguay match later. Thanks for not putting results on here.

Aussie/wales match was fantastic.

I haven’t seen Canada play yet but 4 years ago, they played really honourable. Might have to cut them a little slack, like if Australian joined in the worlds for hockey.

I really liked Georgia/Uruguay as they played really good, fundamental rugby. They just stuck to the basics, and both teams were good at the basics.

Aussie/Wales sure was something! Good, strong game, with added complexity and nuance.

Canada....they've been in decline since 2011. I hear the politics of the organization is negatively affecting all parts of the program. Also, Canada tends to put athletes in hockey and football and lacrosse before putting them in rugby, so those sports take the best and brightest. (having said that, the announcer in the Uruguay game indicated there's only 4000 rugby players in Uruguay, so their talent pool can't be assumed to be that deep either.)

Scotland/Samoa starts around 4 am.

Better than watching news or sports on repeat, with breakfast! Check your regular TSN!

Semi finals next weekend. I think England / New Zealand will be the better match. The all blacks have shown weakness in the past two years, hopefully England can exploit them.
