Default Are these worth selling?

I have 2 pairs of these waders and wonder if they are worth selling or do guys just buy new? I havn't used them much but wanted to try and get some money back from them if possible.

Not the answer you will want.

But no.

There are so many better options than the old neoprene waders. You literally see no one except really old guys who hang onto gear until it disintegrates wearing them, and it this point even those guys are moving to the new tech. )

Now, with that being said it only takes the right guy, but I dont see you getting much for them. (Hence why you probably have had 0 bites on your ad)

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you most likely won’t recoup enough to make it worth your while.

But this is just my opinion...so do what you will with it.

I would put them in kijiji as they are still quite good for winter wading. Can be used for migratory hunting in sloughs etc. If you put them in for a low enough price they will sell. Give them away as a last resort but don't toss them in the garbage.

Default Waders

If you can’t get a buyer, perhaps there’s a youth program at local club/rec centre that would appreciate a donation? Not much dough for you, but lotsa feel good...

Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I donate alot of old waders[neo] to my local club.Hook & Hackle club in Calgary. They have there annual auction in the spring each year.Other stuff, rain gear, wading jackets, boots, lines etc. It is not junk..We are involved in an expensive sport..My way of helping out new to the sport...Bow Habitat also, takes stuff...

Kijiji is full of them from $30-$50.

I had two sets, like new, and gave them away to a new fisherman. By the time you get your money they will be rotted out.....

Same to be said for other gear; rods/reels etc...If it is junk and no use left, I toss it out.....Haha.

Just give the waders away.....

Thanks for the info guys. Sounds like they are outdated but I guess for the right price they may go.

I figured I would take flak for that, it was meant in jest...

Problem with stocking foot waders is someone now spends $200 on wading boots that cannot be used for anything else but wading, and CANNOT be Felt bottom.

Still using 20 year old 5mm Wardells that have about 500 trips on them so far.

Almost more aquaseal than neoprene now....but I have gone through 6 pairs of wading boots in that time.
Perfect for Spring and Fall then wet wade in the summer.

Friend who has breathables ends up turning "girlie" in the early spring and Fall.
