Default Need Help Identifying Town Picture Was Taken In

Does anybody recognize where this picture was taken? This is my dads old car from when he was a kid and he is trying to locate it to buy it back. Any help is appreciated

Might help if it was bigger. Looks like a Cenotaph or historical monument on the sidewalk there.

I think its an electrical box. And that looks like a courthouse or one of the older buildings near it in Red Deer to me, been a couple years since I've lived there. Also, looks like a 2 or 3 lane road with those cars beside each other, and it's one way, so I'm still thinking Gaetz

Can't tell much from that ^ mini-photo, other than the license plate # appears to have been blotted out. It looks like a gravel lot, but you can't even make out what the signs in the background say.

Is this really worth pursuing?
