Default shed advice

So, I built this outhouse at the lake. It has a self contained holding tank inside and I want to finish the inside walls so it isn't a haven for spiderwebs and moth cocoons in all the wall studs.
I got the bright idea of using laminate flooring on the walls as it is a smooth, finished surface and easy to keep clean. I want this thing to be a pleasant to use as possible.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't use this product as a wall board?

I intend to attach it right to the 2x4 frames , no backing plywood. I figure the t&g boards locking together should be rigid enough.

I don't really want to use plywood because the walls are angled out to the top plate and the roof line is super steep, along with the framing around the holding tank it would be a lot of cutting and fitting and wasted material.

laminate is not good around moisture as it swells. I would just use a T & G pine

Not sure humidity will be a big deal other than outdoor temp fluctuations . The tank itself will not be open when not in use and will be vented through the roof. .

That sounds like a good idea, you will have a myriad of colors and finishes to choose from and it will look pretty nice I think. Usually some really good deals available on discontinued stuff, you don't need the high end stuff as your not actually flooring with it so wear isn't an issue.

Maybe 5-8mm vinyl planks. Waterproof so there should be no issues with moisture. Again, these come in a bunch of styles and colors, and are frequently on sale.

Think I will go ahead with it. Cheaper than plywood and a lot less finicky cutting.

It's an outhouse not the Taj Mahal. Just kidding. Use the unfinished planks and stain or varathane. Don't forget to put in a battery operated push button light for the night times. We had 2

X2, looks nicer as well. Also easier to work with, laminate is hard on saw blades.

The only problem you would have is if the structure shifts during seasons change, this happens more often then not!
