Question Highway from wetaskiwin to leduc

newly surfaced highway that was laid down last year, i was driving to edmonton yesterday ' a truck past me , i got a shower of rocks, it was than i noticed patches of highway surface missing ' along the sides,extremely dangerous piece of road .Anybody else notice this ?

Hmmm, It sounds like our government is cheaping out on our tax dollars and trying to find the cheapest ways to build our highways.

I think they're required to go with the lowest tender. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I used to work in Materials Testing, and asphalt/bitumen sampling was part of my responsibility. It's amazing what the lowest bidder will try to pull off. Ok, it's not amazing. It's just disheartening.

Highway 12 east of Stettler got some "Rock chip seal coating" last summer and I didn't think they were done and one day I was driving home and they were painting the lines and the next day all the signs were gone. It is AWFUL..The road is missing big patches of the little rocks and god forbid someone pass you. The windsheild has taken a beating

I "think" it's privatized ...go figure.....
