Default Wedco Gas Cans

I know many of you are like me and have a pile of various size gas cans. I have a lot of the old Wedco cans in 1, 2 and 5 gallon. Great cans but replacement O rings, caps and cap seals are hard to find and have become so expensive it is cheaper to buy a new one. Finally found solid replacement caps that fit these cans. I never use the spout anyhow, only ever use a shaker hose to transfer gas so these new caps are great. Seal well, fit good 8 for 28 bucks.

You can find the nozzle slotted square rings on Amazon too.

Dean2, thanks for the link. I hate using those stupid nozzles. I picked up one of these battery powered transfer pumps, and life is so much better now!

These shaker hoses need no batteries and will empty out a 5 gallon can in about 3 minutes. Just set the can on the bed rail and shake the line, it auto primes and siphons. Have one in each garage and the pickup.

put one of the caps on a 2 gallon Wedco can and sat it on its nose so it had full pressure on it. Five hours, not a drop leaked.

Thanks for that info!

Has anyone found aftermarket Wedco flex gas nozzles that work?
I’ve tried a couple with my Wedco cans but they either didn’t fit or leaked….

I have a couple of short flex and some of the old style solids, maybe one long flex. Have never found after markets but since I don't use the nozzles except on my small cans for things like chain saws, I haven't really looked for any.

If you guys are looking for Webco parts than check out this company from the USA. https://ezpourspout.com/

Company started years ago to help farmers and I have used them for about 8 years now. They ship to Canada with no problems. Shipping costs are high but I make sure I order extra or usually wait until after harvest to order replacements. When ordering make sure you check off the box for Webco and they will send you a free cap with every spout.

My biggest problem with all my Wedco gas cans are the damn vent caps always crack and leak.
