We've been out every weekend since it opened, and by most reports it has been fishing a little slow. In the first 2 weeks leech patterns were working well on sinking lines, but the last 2 weekend chironomids were more productive. One warmer Sunday there were a lot of rising fish, but we weren't sure what they were taking. We've spent most of our time in the bay by the day use area, and off of the south / west shore of the island. Now that the water is warming, hopefully the fishing might pick up a bit. Most of our fish have been in the 17 - 18" range, but they are a bit fatter than last year for sure.

Most fish that we've caught have been about this size:

It's usually been pretty windy when we've been out, but there have been times for an hour or two with hardly a breath of wind.

Bh is best during the day when the water is rippled, or late when the light fades. same at PO?
