Default Moose

Bushmaster: If that is an AB animal, it is awsome. Mine is an elderly fellow, behind our yard. He probably lost his last fight.
Panasonic Z200, iso100, 1/800 sec, f/4, 1200 eq focal length.

All taken with Pentax K10D with 300 mm lens and

Calypso Orchid, just off highway 35 10 km north of Sec Hwy 692

Interesting little plant. One leaf one flower and less then two inches in height. Very easy to miss.

ISO 400

Dragon Flies and fisherman on Great Slave Lake. 11.54pm

I count ten, that is not even close to how many there were. I'm guessing there were in excess of one thousand within a hundred feet of us.

The first time I have fished there and not had to contend with mosquitoes.

Cannon XSI
Cannon ef 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens
ISO 800
F: 5.6
1/250 shutter
