Default MN Youth Season Success

My youngest kid is now a hunter. NW Minnesota youth season 2011. She could take a buck or a doe and elected to take the "first mature deer available." After just about being run over by a huge bodied 140 class buck at day break, her nerves were really rattled. But she bounced back. A half hour later she made a great stalk for over a 1/2 mile thru waist high grass to shoot this mature doe at 250 yards. She made a one shot kill with my .270 while using a handheld bipod.
