So the gf and I skinned it all up as best as we could, then boiled it in water with washing soda for about a hr then pulled it out and and scraped some of the meat that was still hanging on and popped out the eyes, then put it back in the boiling water for about another hr by then most of the meat was cleaned off.Let it dry for about a day or 2 then soaked it in hydrogen peroxide for about 6 days, then just let it dry and then mount it.Im thinking I might do this in my spare time for people if they don't want to do it them selfs since I have everything to do it and lots of spare time.Ya Im so pleased how this turned out.

Well I guess I'll share the story on this monster. So the gf and I were driving around some back roads when we came across a bunch **** hawks eating away at this buck.So I got out and checked it out and it looked like it was just shot and left because there was a pool of blood on this road and you could see where it was just dragged off into the ditch. This road was pretty ****ty and you wouldn't be able to go faster then 20k an hr so I didn't think it was road kill.So called the fish cops they came out looked it over and figured it was just road kill and I asked if I could keep the head,it was a shame just to leave it in the ditch. So they wrote us a tag for it and thats that.Wish I could of shot him my self but Im still looking for my buck for this year.

You boil the skull, then start cleaning it off, getting all of the brains and flesh off it, boil it again, repeat the steps until the skull is clean. then boil it with some hydrogen peroxide to get it nice and white. dont use alot, it will make the skull soggy. so dont pour in a whole bottle. I think like 1/4 cup is what i've used before. you can always boil it more than once until u get the whiteness u want. Good luck and have fun.
