Default Details of the Jeff Foiles poaching case.

Borrowed his bud's dog, shoots it and sticks him with the vet bill?

What a poorly written article about a poacher.

Guys a complete idiot. Shouldn't be allowed to hunt here ever again. If we did what he did , on US soil, they'd lock us up in Guantonimo...

Really? I thought it was very well written (despite some minor technical inaccuracies).

Chronicles the rise and fall of of an individual. Definitely not a flattering biography; paints Foiles in a pretty negative light.

Sounds like he was lucky he got off as light as he did, though it sounds like he still just doesn't get it.

I had never heard of this guy until a few weeks ago. Thanks for the link to the article. This guy is a total ***** clown who should be out of the business. He paints waterfowlers and all hunters in a light they don't deserve. Killing an animal isn't funny and torturing it for your own amusement is disgusting. He's a joke.

Then we'd just have more guides and I think we have enough.

Very well written story I thought. Shows the measures that he allegedly took to make himself "great". The old adage "no honour among thieves" appears to live on!

I thought it was a good read as well. Might make a good movie; "The Rise and Fall of a Duck Hunter"

Some people could care less, but the crowd i roll with won't support his business in the least.

Nice sounding call but I won't buy one. They had them at Cabelas on sale that last time I was there.

Yup they were in my stopping grounds at the end of September. I know that they got turned down permission on a few shoots.

Yeah when I was in there 2 weeks ago it almost looked like they were clearing them out. Maybe Cabelas read a few of our emails about our support for Foiles.

Anyone that takes more then they should will end up getting cought. They're setting an example. He's become the Martha Stewart of duck hunting." Please it was wrong and he knew it. Those are the kind of people that wreck it for the rest of us.

So...when is the outfitters case coming up?
Aren't they responsible for their clients?

I agree with this, an artical painting his whole life in an entirely negative light might be what some of us want to hear but a well written story shows both sides.

Default pressure to produce...

I am not justifying what Foiles did in no way shape or form, however, we as consumers of these videos demand more action, more kills, more blood.

In a way he just gave us what we had asked for, albeit illegally.

He's been punished and fined, now leave the guy alone. He has lost a lot of things over this, most of which was his credibility and authenticity as a hunter, host, friend and husband.

This guy is NOT a hunter. Straight-up killer. He's not in it for the hunt, just the killing. he needs a pyschotherapist, he's gonna need medication. There is something seriously wrong with him.
