Default Charity 3D shoot with crossbows allowed

Hi all Just wanted to spread to word that we are having a one day shoot on the ski hill in Grande Prairie on July 21st. This is a charity event with proceeds being used to raise money for the National archery in the schools program. With this spirt in mind we are allowing crossbows at this shoot. Cost is $65 and includes two rounds of 25 targets, lift pass and steak dinner at the end. Hope to see you all there!

This looks like it could be pretty cool! Like a mini Total Archery Challenge!

What is the max distance going to be, Ray?

It does look awesome! The Montana TAC is the same weekend unfortunately. Sounds like a blast, and for a great cause.

Max of around 100 yards give or take for the extreme catagory. We are going with a ski hill theme of green (beginer), blue ( intermediate ) and black diamond (expert). If the shots aren’t long for the black diamond class they will still be tough. We just got in our new sasquwash, lion and redstag. So expect to see 25 new rhineharts! Camping is available on site and nitehawk has the tube zone going for the kids, check it out at gonitehawk.com. The lounge will be open for the steak dinner and social after so it will be nice be able to talk with you all and get your feed back on the shoots! The shoot is limited to a max of 120 so online registration on nitehawks web sire really encouraged to avoid disappointment.

Default 3D shoot at Nitehawk Ski hill in GP

Ray and I did a walk last week and have some tough shots for those extreme shooters, is going to be a new challenge for all!
Pass the word along as this is our inaugural shoot, so need some good exposure, just did the on-line registration, works great.

We are unfortunately having to cancel the shoot on the ski hill on the 21st. 60 mm of rain is forecast and the hill would become to unsafe to shoot or set up on. Nitehawk will be refunding all the preregistrations. Hopefully you all can make the hunter shoot in August 18 &19 instead. Sorry about the bad news- Ray

Yes so was I! But with up to 100mm of rain this weekend the hill would just be to dangerous. We will be haveing the 5 extra extreme shots per round at our hunter shoot August 18 and 19th. Our range at evergreen park is really sandy soil as well so it doesn’t get effected by rain in the same way.
