Default Prairie creek.

My wife and I are going to be spending a couple of days at the Prairie Creek Inn to celebrate our 34 anniversary. I might throw my fly rod in when we go. What can I except from Prairie Creek near the inn. Thanks for the replies.

Haven't fished it in years but it used to hold some nice browns. It's pretty quiet water in that stretch, but Im sure if you ask the people at the inn they'll be willing to give you a tip or two.

Default Miracle Mile

In the 50’s I had a great uncle who was an avid fly fisherman in Red Deer. (He was mentioned in a couple articles in the Alberta Fishing Guide in the early 80’s)
He used to talk about the Miracle Mile on Prairie Creek.

When I was checking into the Prairie Creek Inn a few years ago I inquired about the Miracle Mile and was told that the Inn was right on the Miracle Mile. I suspect the fishing on that stretch may have changed over the last 6-7 decades.
