Default Plugged cat converter.

My ex’s cc is plugged. She’s broke.
If she goes to a shop will they cut it out and replace with a peice of straight pipe or make her install new one?

Depending on the vehicle it might be better to replace it. Usually you get a check engine light with out it and sometimes they sound bad in the cab

If you remove the cat you can throw one of these over your rear o2 sensor so you don’t get a check engine light. The owner of the cat gets to sell it, not the shop.
