Default A harbinger? An omen? Or ROLL UP NTHE RIM.

As I was driving home today I seen a Raven sitting on a fence post with Tim Hortons coffee cup, wish I had my camera. Some would say this is a sign of future happenings. What do you think?

3 - 0 McDonald's

Throw in the sticker program and you have a guaranteed 1in7 chance of winning a free coffee.

4 - 0 McDonald's.

Default prices

7 eleven=50cents a cup
mcd promo=1.05 any size
tims=180 ish for a medium
now if we can only get these cups banned, like straws we'll save the planet.

It's a sure sign that people are pigs .They will throw their trash out the window so their car stays clean inside ,while at the same time lecture others about saving the environment.

Sounds like Dennis Learys '67 Cadillac El Dorado might have driven that route.

I certainly hope its an omen, Tim's used to be a good institution but not anymore. The only thing they have going for them now is the hot chocolate. I find they still have the best.
I'm going to date myself here but I'm old enough to remember ordering at the counter, going to sit down and they would bring you a freshly, in house fried donut to your table. You could smell fresh donuts all year round every time you got within a block of place. The apple fritters could not be beat at the time. The honey cruller's were served hot and no artificial chemical taste after wards. I even remember once being invited into the kitchen to decorate my own Boston cream as a child.
I miss the old Tim's. I guess its just an old memory to tell around the camp fire now.

I’m happy to say that after all the years that Timmies been around...I’ve never become addicted to their coffee, I drove by tons of timmies stores just to see massive line up... and for what?? A simple coffee.. a double double for triple the price, I really don’t think I’m missing much, plus McDonald’s coffee is pretty good, at least good enough for this old guy!!

Those were the good old days!! The store on 50th street just north of the Yellowhead used to have the best fritters. They were huge! The smell of the freshly cooking treats was mouth watering.
Now everything is pre cooked at a uniform size and just warmed up in the oven to finish. Even the eggs for the breakfast sandwiches comes pre cooked and warmed in the oven.
At least you get fresh cooked eggs at McDonalds. I also like their coffee better these days but be careful if you go to the one in Westlock. You often end up with a mouthful of grounds. The wife and I have both complained but it happens so often we usually go to Timmies for our coffee here.

Amen to that!!! Restaurant International is going to screw up Popeye's Chicken too. Burger King was always screwed up so can't blame that on them.

The raven was screwing it up for a team of thieves by taking the cup.

Thieves have been putting tim horton cups along driveways and fences of places they have cased out and are worth robbing.

I miss the variety of other shops that Tim put out of business. Robyns Donuts, Dunk'n Donuts, and others each had their own tastes & favourites. Now we have to go all the way up to Gasoline Alley in Red Deer for a real donut!

Yup ...... I hate the drive through. Should be for coffee/donuts only. No cooked/toasted/prepared food.

I won a $10 Tim's card at work yesterday. Probably give it away. I make my own at home, but will slum a McD's if I'm out any time over Tim's.
