Hard no on that. CPAWS is not looking out for the best interests of outdoorsmen.

Doesn't take anything more than a little google search to realise that cpaws fully supports the y2y initiative.

Believe it or not, not all on this forum are "pro" hunting.
Which is unfortunate....

The process for a CCEG Grant from the ACA is clear in terms of its requirements. The grants are adjudicated through a multi-reviewer process.
The eligibility requirements are available online for you to review.

The annual grants reports are available online so you can go and see what CPAWS asked for and how much funding they got.

As a hunter and angler I am very happy for my levies to be used for broad based and rigorous conservation research, and useful community conservation and environmental education projects.

There are also CPAWS staff are active hunters and anglers.

Then I'm afraid they're hypocrites. Nothing personal against them, but anything that in any form aligns with or gives tacit approval to Y2Y is not helping outdoorsmen.
