Yes and I don't think it was the pilots who actually filed it. I read somewhere it was the management that files for this companys flights rather than the pilots.

Still having problems wrapping my head around this, the flight plan says we're flying to Dusseldorf, the plane heads for Edinburgh, 90 deg. to the intended course and the pilots don't notice the sun isn't in their face ? Bearing read out out?

If mgmt files the flight plans, and there consistently are errors, maybe this time the pilots said "Eff it. I'm not fixing this one."
