Correct me if Im wrong fellows, but those are Winchester, looking at the bolts. custom stocked, the screws in the side below the bolt are rather unsightly, the top stock would most likely be more if I was guessing as the checkering is elaborate, hopefully the top of the line leupold optics... maybe chambered in a safari cartridge would up the price a bit more... honestly I wouldnt pay $25 grand for either , try to change my opinion . Any more info would be great. I love the wood.
This one is similair in looks, but sold for $200,000

Doubt you could buy a hand formed padded leather recoil pad for $3.00
But, yes the rifles are overpriced for what they are.

Likely pre '64 actions, and I would not be surprised of the cross bolts are engraved.
Out of my price range however, and not what I would pay for if they were in my price range anyway!

Well, t3's dont have cross bolts
Although I dont shoot a T3 because it is handsome or not, it is sleek, comfortable to carry, rugged and it performs. It is very accurate, it is my work horse and it will drop anything on this continent, actually with shot placement and the right bullet, anything in the world I expect.
If I was wanting a rifle that was handsome (after I have tons of $$$ from my hunting show, and books i'll have written, and custom gun work ) I would probably start with a Blazer or steyr action, just because they are really cool, then maybe a mannlicher stock in some dark wood that had a really cool grain to it. The stock would be custom made, as would the barrel, and the action would be fine tuned to the 9's. Probably a Jewel trigger. Very fine open sight system, maybe peeps, then with a beutified quick detach scope mount to suite my mood, opne sights if the critters within a mile, scope for further . Get the custom laser engraving on the Leupold, also the gold inlayed engraving on the magazine bottom, and on the bolt and where ever else. Top it all off with some world class checkering, and a sling made from some critter I shot, and there she be. Thanks for making me drool all over my keyboard, my dogs drinking from the puddle on the floor.
Anyways, I guess the cross-bolts are something that would grow on you, having them ingraved deffinitley would make them less ugly. Theres my 50 cents for now... for now
So how much was admission to take the pics of these $50k guns? lol. Who wants to have a contest to see who can find the most expensive gun on the net? haha

They are worth 50K quite simply because people are lined up to pay that for them. The market says they command that price so they do. It's that simple.

They are built on Model 70 Classic actions. Not Pre-64's.

I'm not much of a wood guy, but think it is some kind of hard shell Walnut.
