Default Rod advice

Looking to upgrade my rod since I snapped the tip on my go to dry flicker last year. Anyone use the Sage Pulse? Wiggled one in the store and it felt pretty good. Just wondering if it’s worth the $$.....

I was looking at that rod too, and ended up buying the Fenwick Aetos. Highly recommend checking it out at about 1/3 of the price!

I would suggest Aetos too. Cabela currently has a sale for them; i think $30 off?

If I didnt have my tfo pro series, i would definitely buy the aetos.

I’ve had a pulse for a few years now. 9ft 5wt. Got it when they first came out. Love it. It’s my go to rod. Casts well, mends well, nice fit, finish, and feel. Caught everything from large bull trout to Lake Whitefish and everything in between.

Have used the pulse for sometime and love it. Have a 9 foot 5 weight and 10 foot 3 weight for euro nymphing. Solid rod. Can not go wrong

I hear the pulse is good. I own an Orvis Recon. Great mid price rod.
