Default Quick detach rings for Tikka dovetail?

I’m looking for a repeatable wick detach option to swap out a 30mm tube range scope and a 1” tube hunting scope.
I’ve found some incredibly expensive European options that might be more worthwhile just getting another rifle and using one at the range and one out hunting and forget the swapping idea.
Any other more budget friendly options out there that are repeatable without needing to re-zero? My very limited experience with Leupold proved not to be sufficient. I’m curious if the design of a weaver loosens the ring on the scope when removed.
Open to reading all suggestions here
Thanks

Default Leupold all the way

I have had the QR rings on everything from a 30-06 to 375 H & H with exceptional repeatability

Second this. Also QRW rings will do what you need, especially if you get steel bases.

Weaver rings stay closed when removed, but in my experience they are usually the worst for marking up scope tubes.

Is it reasonable to expect a quick detach ring setup to not change poi out to 600m? 800m?
Reason I don’t care for bases then rings on top is I have a small face and like mounting scopes as low as possible. And using a one piece eliminates some margin of error of misalignment between pieces. Am I wrong about bases and rings not being able to mount as low?
Hunting purposes the rifle will be used out to 300m and possibly the odd 400m shot but I haven’t had to shoot that far hunting yet.

I can get plus or minus about 1/2” at 100 yards. You need to ensure you install your mounts the same way each time to minimize error and take out any play.

If you had a CZ or Ruger77 then you could get Alaskan Arms qd rings which will hold zero perfectly.

Well that might be the way to go then! I’m looking to get a Ruger #1 and could maybe use that for my range work. I don’t know it’ll shoot like my Tikka with Ron Smith barrel but the rings situation may need to dictate my decision.

I checked out those Alaskan Arms rings and they look great and are much better priced than the euro options I found.
Keep the suggestions coming

I have 3 Near Alpha mounts. One on a 7LRM, 6.5-284 and a 300 WM. I have taken them all off and put back on to check and see if they hold zero. They do not move.

These are probably what you are talking about. They work awesome, I have them on my Battue, but you're correct in the pricey part. I've made worse investments though

PS, I bought a set of 30mm rings as well as 1", and I'm pretty sure I'll never run the 30's. If you buy the base, I'll hook you up with a free set of 30mm rings.

Wow awesome offer. I will be sure to look into these.
The euro ones I saw online were Rusan (not sure on shipping etc but ~ $280 cdn), MAKlassic (more $) , and ERAMATIC (more $$$)

That setup on a battue would be awesome.

I’ll have to search NEAR Alpha as well

Thanks everyone.

If you want to see mine I’m sure we can arrange a meet up. I have FXII 4x, that I sometimes pop on. Quite often it just roams around with the open sights.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I bought a tikka battue that came with Warne quick release rings and the repeatability is amazing. I took them off and on five times and was always shooting dead center at 200. Think the price tag on the Warne package was $140.

Thank you very much. I’ll be putting a 30mm tube 10x on for range work and a 1” tube fx3 6x42 or fx-ii 4x33 for hunting. I’m east of Sherwood Park and if my life gets a little less crazy busy than right now I’d love to see how it works.

Well at 200 that sounds mighty repeatable if you ask me. I was wondering if maybe the rings loosen on the scope tube at all just the way it’s designed. I can’t say I’ve seen them in person before. With the screws tight up top, does loosening the bottom quick detach impact the tube fit at all?
