Default Critic my house alarm build

So here's what I'm looking at having installed:

First Alert FA168C-CN control panel
Transformer (16 V 40VA Plug In)
15 Watt, 115 db siren in the cold air return (how does this affect noise outside the house? That's the primary purpose)
2 Keypad LCD Alpha "Elite" - Black and Silver
1 Expander 8 zone module
3 Door contacts
5 window contacts
2 Glassbreaks Detector Shatter Pro
1 Temperature Detector (Low, -40 deg. F)
1 Flood/Water Detector

Total price, installed is $1513.05 after taxes, provided I go with a minimum one year monitoring contract. The whole system would we through existing phone lines, and as hardwired as reasonably possible. That's what Telsco Alarm in Edmonton has quoted me, still need to talk to Protelec and Voxcom (now Reliance) to see what their prices come in at. One of the main things is that when I discontinue monitoring, I want to keep the equipment with no extra charges.

I'm not worried about interior protection, as they'll be more than a few critters running around to set of motion detectors, and then the wife can set it and still wander around the inside of the house.

Note: The system would be in a house in Edmonton.
