I'm in my last few weeks of the business management deploma in the entrepreneurship and innovation stream at NAIT' JR Shaw school
Of business. Im thinking about carrying on for two more years with them to get my BBA degree.
Business does open alot of doors, originally I did it because I wanted to start
Own business, but now I'm planning on working for a fee years before starting
Anything. With a management deploma their are lots o good jobs you can score like municipal management, banking, sales ect. The degree just gives you a little more ( and about 15,000 more per year starting)
If you ever wanted to start a business I'd say for sure get yourself a managemnt deploma, but if you take business at NAIT. You'll take general business courses for the first year And you can pick a major after that In finance, accounting, human resources, marketing or management.
You'll learn some really good skills that set you apart from anyone else, research skills, analyzing opportunities, how to read and write financials, public speaking, how to strategically manage, laws, and models for marketing and management
