Default Finding first bear

I have spent a bit of the season out in Athabasca and west of Mulhurtst but have not seen a bear, only some tracks.

Now it looks like work is forcing me to take a week off and I have promised a new hunter a chance to go for a bear.

So if you were me would you head to Carrot Creek/Edson or near Rocky Mountain? or somewhere completely different?

Cheers

Although the outfitter in Calling Lake hunts them every spring and his guide tells me there are lots, I have only ever seen a couple out hunting NE of Calling Lake.

North of Smoky Lake. Lots of crown and easy access.
