would like to know if anyone has ever seen bear, cougar, or wolves in the lindale, modeste creek area. going to spend a few days there, taking the dog to do some field training, and was wondering if i might bump into anything with sharp pointy teeth. not worried about wolves for my sake, just the dog's.No gun, just a starter pistol.

I wouldnt go stomping around there without a bow/rifle.

I've seen bear wolves and have a cat on trail cam haven't seen lots but there there my buddy shot a wolf in the area a few yrs ago a pack of 4 running a deer he got the last one but I wouldn't be to concerned

Have hunted that area for yotes and wolf. Seen lots of yotes & two wolves in the three years that i have been in that area. Great luck with the yotes but no wolf lol
Any area in Alberta, there isn't a chance of running into any of the above ? Careful is the word for the wise.
