Moose were dropping like flies Oct 5th. Slowed right down to a standstill here as I call it the after rut vacation. Pretty tough getting a moose up here the middle two weeks of Oct. Best luck catching them getting fired up again end of October for the next rut first week of Nov.... I've got a few on chain right now, hoping to take a nice 45" bull with bow or muzzleloader at the least. The bulls fight real hard in my honey hole. Always a bull or two walking around with one less antler every season.
