new bow

Hi all I am going to buy my first bow soon and would like your opinion.

Go to a store and shoot a whack of them when you find the one that feels right get it!!!
When testing different bows make sure they are set at the same poundage.

Go to a reputable archery "pro shop", where their only business is archery! I don't want the guy that sells everything from flip flops to canoes giving me advice on what to buy for an archery set up. Maybe buy from the "big box" stores once you've learned a little, but you'll find yourself wanting to support the pro shops once you get into it.

Just my 2 cents,...

That sounds like a very wise decision, and go over to JimBows while your out and about, he's a great guy to deal with and learn from.
