Increased priority?

Another draw question.If in 2012 I put in for bull moose,then 2013 I put in for cow moose than 2014 I put in for bull moose what should my priority be for bull moose in 2015 if I 999 it?Do I loose the cow priority or is it added to the bull priority?Confused.

A couple assumptions here.
If in 2012 you had a priority zero on your Antlered moose(33)and weren't drawn, then you applied for another Antlered moose (33)in 2014 and you weren't drawn, you'd go into 2015 with a priority of 2.
If in 2013 you started at priority zero, and then applied for Antlerless moose (27)and were unsuccessful or 999'd it you'd go into 2015 with a priority of 1.

You do not loose priority for any draw unless you are successfully drawn.

There are no cow or bull draws in Alberta. btw.

If I build priority in one draw and don't put in for say 5 years will a guy loose that priority?
right now I am putting in general elk, but want to start building in 300A but don't want to loose the general elk points I have to date

I don't think so but I've heard it's happened during the big switch last year.

The only way to lose priority points is to get drawn. As well priority is assigned to the draw code, so applying for, or being drawn for one draw code does not change your priority for any other draw code.
