Default RCBS Customer Service

I bought an RCBS die set from a guy on CGN
After using it for a while, the expander ball pulled off of the head of the decapping rod.
Called RCBS and asked if I could buy a replacement.

Answer: " Oh no Sir, that would be covered under our lifetime warranty, please give me your address and I will send you the new updated part that will fit your die free of charge"
These are certainly not new dies...
Wow!

Mind you it wasn't all free - I was wandering around on their web site and I was so impressed with them that I ordered a micrometer seater.
It appears that their warranty policy is also good marketing LOL

They have been excellent for decades. good to see at least on place has maintained their high standards despite Covid. So many use it an an excuse for atrocious service.

I have found them to be pretty good the couple of times I needed their help. Be interested to hear how you make out.

I had to order some replacement set screws for some twenty year old dies. Same story, arrived a week later, no cost. I realize it’s a cheap part to send, but the service was on point.

The few times I needed them they have been great.
I have a new seater plug & extended shell holder being sent to me now from RCBS free of charge. They are for a set of competition dies in 7-08 that I had bought used & still completely covered under warranty. I have gone green.
