A friend of mine used to own the lodge, he passed away before I could go out there but my sister used to be a cook out there. Great pike fishery, fly in only. I’m not sure what your budget is but if you want a bit more diversity for pike walleye lake trout and grayling you could look at Lloyd lake lodge.

I know the fella that owns Gypsy now.

Its only pike fishing but you will be well taken care of...great people and excellent food provided.

World class bear hunts right out of the fly in lodge too.

I was up there in 2014 under the previous owners, can't remember their names but they were great. The lake is absolutely loaded with pike, in ten days I caught over 500 pike, best day was over 100, however the big fish were few and far between, I only landed 6 over 30 inches with the biggest one being 38 inches. That being said I know a guy who caught a 54 incher there...

I don't think it was Jeff, it was an elderly couple, I'd know their names if I heard them...

Default Gypsy Lake

The lake was epic in the late 90’s to early 2000’s when we used to go in there. I saw 3 pike over 30lbs and several 25 - 28lbers taken there. I’m surprised to hear the quality has gone down as they were preaching catch and release back in those days. I doubt that the stewards of the land netted it as it is primarily a pike lake.

The so called stewards of the land that rape and pillage every lake they can get their hands on....
Nah can’t see that. Lol
