I can't believe how dirty some of these Flames players I! I suspect some supplemental discipline is coming following this game. Last game, Tkachuk, with a 32" vertical, slams Campbell's head into the ice, somehow giving him a lower body injury, minutes before, and he's now out for weeks. This game, I don't know how many times I've seen it, but multiple Flames are taking slap shots at the starting goalie!?! I mean, really, some of these guys can shoot that thing over 100 mph, and they are shooting it right at him. If that's not a blatant attempt to injure, I don't know what is. Finally, Anderson had the sense to jump out of the way when he saw Lucic tee it up. But I think it's high time Tavares, Marner, or Mathews stood up for Anderson and went and had a "talk" with Looch. I don't know what the refs are watching, but it's getting ridiculous.

Man so many turn overs this game, only a matter of time before one killed us.

It's only mean when Tkachuck takes the slap shot though...

Play like a punk, get treated like a punk.

Well done, Muzzin.

....and then Turtles has a little hissy fit because no one respects him. Love it!

Not a bad game for the shames. If games were 40 minutes long.

Hopefully we show up on time against the Habs. Had we done that tonight maybe a different outcome.
Bring on Montreal.
Guess this is where I am to moan and cry about Muzziin being mean hey, LOL No biggy, take it up with him come game 3. Then again if Tkachuck does something about it, i am sure will be labeled, wait for it. Dirty.

That was the funniest thing a seen in a long time... then he slams the doors on his own teammates and then fails to knock over the water bottle tray... priceless.

Have to laugh about this Muzzin flipping the puck at Tkachuck. Had that been the other way around, people would be losing it on how classless Tkachuck is, but since it happened to him people live it.
I don't have a problem with it, I think it's funny. Just pointing out how if it was him doing it people would have hated it. Haha. Bring on the Habs, and show up on time.

He didn't commit enough to wrecking the water bottles I feel. Should have upped the effort on them for sure. Good call..

Wo do like to play from behind it seems. As well as spending time in the penalty box. All the interviews they all talk a good game, on knowing what they are doing wrong, but here we are again. Down in the game. So frustrating

I was wondering if I was going to feel like I'd seen this game before so didn't even start watching.

Is it just me or do the Flames always seem to tank immediately after one of Turtles bozo eruptions?

So much for a bounce back game. Playing as flat as can be, I could stop these shots, not going to beat Price with them ever.

Painful. First we have to watch Corey Perry another 8 Times. It's like men playing against boys. I turned it off.

This not showing up in the first, being down, then outplaying the opposition in period 2 and 3 but still losing is getting a bit old. Time to shake things up a bit I think as we've essentially tried the same thing for the last 3 games with identical results.

Would sitting Lucic and Ryan, throwing Bennett back to center on the 4th line and bringing up Rinaldo and Robinson be the worst thing ever?

Tkachuk-Lindholm-Dube
Gaudreau-Monahan-Simon
Mangiapane-Backlund-Leivo
Rinaldo-Bennet-Robinson

Or maybe switch out Robinson for Leivo? Leivo has the same number of goals and one more assist vs Robinson. I think with Robinson, he knows the opportunity may not come again, and the complete level is going to be high, he'll probably at least hit someone....

If you guys worked super hard on Robinson's hands.... he'd be a new Lucic with youth and speed for you.

I hope that's the plan for him.

Alright, are we going to play all three periods today?

Looks like we're icing the same lineup.

Think I'll start recording it and see what happens.

Really, allowing breakaways in, tips in front, and rebounds batted in 3' off the ice is "weak sauce"?

Guess you have higher expectations for a goalie than I.
