Default snorting

What does a deer snorting mean to you besides possible danger?

To me i have seen it bring in the bucks....wow there it my sweetheart i better check her out.... She snorts within a few mins a buck shows up

Busted hahahah deer snorted me last night from in the bush within 2 mins i seen 10 come out 30 yards from me

FOr does I have found that the snort means a warning to her fawn to get the hell out of dodge. For bucks they do not bolt immediately but sometimes almost treat it like a challenge to the potential threat.

Busted and/or a buck challenge depends on what you deem a snort. Myself I prefer non of the above, a grunt of a buck coming in awesome.
