Default Taking the leap

Well the significant other and I have been tossing the idea of making it official for the past few months. Today I had some spare time and ended upaskin the father for his blessing and getting the ring(impulse buy...lol)I'm not sure which is more nerve racking asking him for his blessing or the girlfriendfor her hand. Looks like my Wyoming Antelope trip is now officially on hold due to $$ lol I wonder if she would be ok with Len Thompson lures for wedding favors

I'm sorry for your loss

The hunting trip that is.

I did specialized lures for my wedding party and close friends after we got married.
Had a picture of us on the front, and our wedding date on the back, done up in our wedding colours.

Congrats.

I recently went through the same scenario. Waited till she shot her first deer and popped the question after we were done field dressing it. Carried that ring in my hunting coat for 28 days in November. Only got nervous in the last couple days. Not about the proposal, about trying to find a deer to stand still long enough. Finally worked out.

Good luck.

DR

Oh and she did say yes!!

Congratulations!! Marriage is a fine institution, work at it and you will enjoy the fruits till you die.

Wasn't a sure thing anyways. I was putting in for a limited draw and the limit was less than 15 so.

Many times in life there are decisions to make and marriage is one of the most important. Choosing her first is right. Congratulations and wishing you all the very best.

I'd love a fishing trip somewhere. I doubt I could wrangle her into that unless it was a Alaska cruise with fishing charter on the side. Personally I'd love a week long in northern Saskatchewan going after like and walleye😁

I think a good test of how things will go in the future and whether it will work out is to tell her you need to schedule the wedding further ahead so that you can still meet your commitment and Plans for the antelope hunt. (After all, a wedding is easier to get a draw for than an antelope hunt). And it's not like a longer time line deminishes the commitment.,

If you survive decorating a room together then ra ra, you guys rock. If she makes you a sandwich and does not expect anything in return then keep her.
I wish you two the best in life.
