Just listened to a panel on TSN explaining how it was Washington's time due to a depleted Pittsburgh lineup, Washington's momentum over the last four periods, home game for Washington, Mr. Game Seven, etc. etc.

Glad they won.

Now that the one round stand with the Ducks is Over, and they have satisfied my needs, it's time to kick them to the curb.

I hope the Preds destroy them.

As for the East. Go Sens Go!!! Karlsson has been a beast. Should be a great series.

Hope the Pens dust the Sens in 4 straight.

Preds take out the Ducks.

Pens vs the Preds for the cup!

Pulling for the Sens. A little tough with Dion on the roster but I will try to stomach it. Will probably come down to goaltending and Karlson and Crosby's health.

The Pred's are going to give the Duck's all they can handle. The Pred's are playing every game with the same speed and fore check that the Oiler's had in Game 6. Goaltending goes to the Pred's and if they maintain their compete level I see the Pred's taking the series in 6

Pred vs Sens final

Still some great hockey ahead.

Could you imagine, it took Ottawa to get 2 Albertan to agree. Maybe we shouldn't tell too many people that.

I will take this all day long, but I am not sure I see the Senators getting past the Penguins. I am looking forward to a great series and I hope Nashville just beats down the Ducks.
Ahh playoff hockey.
Enjoy all..

Pens will beat the Sens - Karlsson can't cover Malkin and Crosby and they're both scoring at a high rate. Their only hope is to overwhelm the Pen's lesser defense. Fleury is definitely doing better than Anderson.

I think the Preds will destroy Anaheim. They're as fast as Edmonton was but they're stronger, have a way better defensive core and their goaltending has been quite good.

Eberle to the Habs? The last thing they need is a small, weak forward that is having a hard time scoring goals. They need some big, strong power forwards to drive their playmaking. Eberle is tentative, ineffective and unmotivated right now. He's not even that fast, either, so he has very little going for him. Watching him in the playoffs was brutal...

Eberle will be part of a package or I see the Oiler getting very little for him and probably retaining a good portion of his 6 million dollar salary.

It's sad because players his size can do well in the NHL, but no defenders are falling for his head fakes and 10 stick handles per second. Might work in a shoot out, but very ineffective in an actual game without foot speed accompanying the stick handling. If he could learn to drive the net and go to the hard areas, his hands are good enough for tips and picking up garbage infront. Maybe take a page out of Pavelski's playbook, but I don't know if Eberle has the drive or stones to make his living in the front of the net.

Default This is the clincher killer fact

Ducks and Preds in Duckland .....Honda Centre half empty ...

So half the number of fans will watch an All American round
that would in a Canadian rink . I tell ya , that Bettman is nuts .
This fact just adds to the insult suffered by Edmontonians .
Go Preds .

I guess this is common knowledge in the NHL

I've heard on 960 that the Ducks don't make a profit unless they go to, I believe it was the 2nd round of the playoffs.

I got admit, I felt a little satisfaction seeing the faces on the Ducks bench after Neal scored. And kinda poetic justice that Perry deflected the shot on his own goal.

Default I still say Eberly for the habs !

Bergevin is determined to corner the market on hockey playing
Circus midgets ,.He will fit in nicely . Those are big ducks but
The Preds bangers are hard and stocky ...They can't be beat
By bodies .....

The reason for initial poor attendance is very early game 6:00
apparently they have heavy traffic times . Should be a gooder .
