They used to make a PTO reverser. I think Kubota actually made it. Stopped selling it do to saftey reasons about 8 years ago.

I've had two. A Ferguson TEA, which I found way too small and light especially with deep snow.

I sold it and went with a 24hp Kubota. Theoretically similar hp. Way different machine. Still have the Kubota, and have zero interest in selling. My only regret would be not quite large enough (hp is fine, weight is a little low). I'd move up to a low 30's machine if I was doing it over.

I didn't want to spend 20K on a Kubota, so we picked up a Jinma 3 cyl 32 hp diesel, 4x4. with 1500 pound front end loader, 3 pt hitch. Then we got a couple of implements, a rear blade, a tiller, and a harrow. We have over 300 hours on it with very few issues.

It's mostly used for snow removal but I've also moved a lot of dirt and done a pile of landscaping.

Bought my Ford 9N 25 years ago used it to skid logs to small sawmill. I have been using it as ranch tractor for last 15 years, sits in snow all winter, fill radiator, gas tank, put battery in turns over twice and fires up. Pull 6 foot finishing mower all summer rated at 30HP, tractor only had 25hp in 1947 when new. How can you beat that for acerage tractor, parts in stock at NAPA.
